[The news are the same, since the last few days. Essentially the same. With different words, but their meaning is the same. Ignis isn't even properly listening anymore and he hates it, it makes his thoughts wonder again and that's what he doesn't want. The music they play on other channels also hurts his ears. It's like walking in a nightmare where the world either hurts him, or his own head does. Ignis wants to wake up, he wants this to end... He can't even ask Prompto for distraction here, they are both gone with Gladio to the market.
But then he hears a noise. He turns his head toward the sound of the door opening and closing. And he wants it to be a hotel staff, bringing towels, or food, or anything, but he hadn't heard anyone pass him. That someone is coming from inside the room. Not Gladio. Not Prompto.
Ever since that talk Ignis hasn't interacted with Noctis, not when he was awake. He just couldn't. It hurt too much and he knew he's not doing any good with that. To either of them. But it hurt too much and he already felt like everything is a bit much. And how selfish is to think that? When Noctis had all his family taken from him, when now he had the whole world's well-being on his shoulders. Ignis needs time to handle that. He needs... time.
Ignis reaches to turn off the radio and he manages on the third try, due to how his fingers tremble. Some injuries still hurt, and he still feels a little weak. Yet, he also feels the weight of that ring on his finger even if he's not wearing it anymore.]
Noct?
[He mutters, quietly into the silence. He wishes he was wrong. But he most probably isn't. And Ignis hates how knowing that Noctis is there and awake wants him to go to him. To just hold him, to get a proper proof that he's alive... And maybe to just have something to release that knot in his chest. He wants to put his arms around him and protect him, but how could he anymore?]
